Effective Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at 12:01am. In a response to a rapid increase in COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations the Province of Ontario will temporarily return to its modified version of Step Two of the Roadmap to Reopen. Municipal indoor sports and recreation facilities including Tri-Township Arena will be closed until January 31/22.



Provincial Vaccine Certificate Requirements

As of January 4, 2022, Ontarians are required to use digital or printed versions of the enhanced vaccine certificate with the official QR code, along with ID, as proof of vaccination status.


The Government of Ontario has announced additional public health measures and workplace safety measures

effective Sunday, December 19, 2021:

- Facility spectator capacity will be capped at 50%

- NO outside food or dink will be permitted in the facility

-Food or drink will not be available for purchase in the facility

- Water bottles allowed for those on the ice participating in skating or hockey

- Entry will be permitted 30 minutes to scheduled ice time

- Participants will have 30 minutes to exit the facility

Vaccination Requirements for Patrons In Indoor Sport & Recreation Facilities.

Effective October 31, 2001 Proof of Vaccination is required*

for each guest age 12 years and older, if:

a)actively participating in organized sports

b) coaching, officiating, or volunteering or

c) spectating.

*unless guest qualifies for an exception*

 All minor sports groups and organizations will follow the “Return to Play” protocols that have been put in place while other user groups will follow COVID-19 protocols in keeping with Public Health and Provincial Guidelines.

Safety measures being put in place include, but are not limited to the following:

·         Self-screening before entering the facility

·         Patrons asked to stay home if they feel sick

·         Hand sanitization upon entry into the facility

·         Face masking will be required up until a helmet is put on

·         Physical distancing and cohort restrictions on the number of users on ice pad and in dressing rooms

·         Contact tracing protocols

·         Following of directional floor markers while in facility

·         Time spent in Lobby will be restricted

·         Enhanced cleaning of the facility following public health requirements


Skate Sharpening: $5.00 per pair including HST. Skate Sharpening cards are available 15 sharpening's for $60.00 including HST (a saving of $15.00)


Public Skating: Sundays 3:00pm -4:30pm ($3.00 per person)  


Public Skating time will be adjusted back to its usual time on Sundays 1:30-3pm starting January 23/22


 Parent & Tots Skating(no sticks or pucks): Tuesday mornings 9:00-10:30 am (no charge program)  Starting October 19th, 2021. 


Adult & Senior Skating: Tuesday mornings 11am-12pm (no charge program Starting October 19th, 2021.

 Every hour of rental is based on 50 minutes of use & 10 minutes for ice re-conditioning.
